Hello! My name is Jana Kabrit. I just completed my undergraduate in Mechatronics Engineering from Rafik Hariri University in Lebanon. Through my experiences in the past 4 years, I have been working toward futhering my studies overseas.

My hard work paid off and I got accepted into NYU Tandon School of Engineering, one of the best engineering schools in the world, with an acceptance rate of 12% in 2022! I am looking forward to a master's in Mechatronics and Robotics where I will specialize in AI (Artificial Intelligence) for Mobile Robotics.

Throughout my undergraduate years, I have maintained a Honor's scholarship (GPA 3.75/4), led multiple clubs, completed 3 internships, and won numerous hackathons and engineering competitions. I am extremely passionate about Robotics and AI and wish to continue making a difference to peoples’ lives. This specialization will allow me to start the career that I have been working for all these years.

For this fundraiser, I am looking to raise the amount for the first semester, 40,000 USD, which covers tuition, housing, and travel fees before my semester starts in September 2022. Since I am an international student, I can only apply for research assistantship positions to cover the remainder of the tuition fee and living expenses once I officially travel to New York and begin my semester in September.
