Executive Summary
Action Mining Services Indonesia (AMSI), a trusted gold mining solutions provider since 2008, launches a Fundahope campaign to eliminate mercury use in artisanal and small-scale gold mining across Indonesia.

This initiative will introduce mercury-free technologies, training, and support to protect the environment and community health while increasing miners’ income.

Goal: Raise USD 500,000 to create scalable, sustainable clean mining practices nationwide.

The Problem
Mercury is widely used by Indonesian artisanal miners, causing severe river pollution, soil contamination, and serious health issues (neurological damage, especially in children).

Indonesia is one of the world’s largest mercury emitters from gold mining. Safe alternatives exist but are not widely adopted due to lack of equipment, training, and support.

Campaign Objectives & Solutions
Deploy efficient mercury-free equipment (gravity separators, centrifuges, shaking tables, etc.).

Train 1,000+ miners in clean processing methods.
Establish 10–15 pilot sites in key areas (Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Sumatra, Papua, etc.).
Provide technical surveys, on-site support, and access to better “clean gold” markets.

AMSI will handle equipment fabrication (from our Pasuruan workshop), supply, training, and implementation using our 18+ years of experience.

- Training & Capacity Building: $100,000 (20%)
- Field Operations & Surveys: $75,000 (15%)
- Monitoring & Awareness: $50,000 (10%)
- Administration & Contingency: $50,000 (10%)
