I never thought I’d find myself writing a message like this, but my grandpa is in desperate need of help, and I don’t know where else to turn. He’s been diagnosed with a life-threatening condition, and the doctors at the American University of Beirut Medical Center say he needs urgent surgery to survive.

The cost of the surgery and care is $49,000, and despite pooling all our resources as a family, we’re nowhere near the amount we need. Time is running out, and we’re overwhelmed trying to figure out how to save him.

My grandpa has always been the heart of our family. He’s the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back to help someone else. He’s given us all so much love, support, and guidance, and now we need to do everything we can to give him the chance to keep fighting.
