Medical exam (Class 1): $1,300 – Mandatory medical test to obtain the pilot's license

Student visa: $250 – Visa fees to stay in South Africa

Health insurance: $400 – Medical coverage for the duration of the training

Transportation and learning materials: $800 – Local travel and books/tools necessary for the courses

Contingency fund: $6,750 – To cover unforeseen expenses related to the training
