Hydro Home is a woman-led urban farming initiative transforming a 60-square-meter terrace in the heart of Beirut into a vibrant hub of sustainable agriculture. Through the power of vertical hydroponic systems, we will grow fresh, pesticide-free lettuce, herbs, strawberries, and a variety of other greens—without soil and using up to 90% less water than conventional farming.
But this is about more than just growing food. Hydro Home is about resilience, recovery, and rebuilding—creating a cleaner, greener, and healthier future in the aftermath of Lebanon’s recent war. With many agricultural lands now polluted and unsafe, our terrace offers a secure, city-based alternative that restores food security, promotes health, and reclaims dignity—especially for women entrepreneurs.
Registered as an LLC since 2023, Hydro Home has laid the groundwork. Now, with your support, we’re ready to scale. Your contribution will help us fully equip the farm, create sustainable job opportunities for women and youth, and supply nutrient-rich produce directly to homes, restaurants, and markets across Beirut.
