Help Fatima Stand Tall Again 🤍

Medical

Help Fatima Stand Tall Again 🤍
Fatima Barakat is a 11-year-old girl with a bright smile and a big heart. She should be enjoying her childhood, going to school, playing with friends, and dreaming about her future. Instead, she is fighting a serious spinal condition that requires urgent surgery. Fatima has been diagnosed with severe scoliosis — a dangerous curvature of the spine that is progressing rapidly. Her X-rays show a significant spinal deformity that is affecting her posture and could soon impact her breathing and overall health if not treated in time. Her doctor has recommended a complex spinal surgery that requires: • Specialized spinal instrumentation • Titanium rods and screws • Advanced navigation and nerve monitoring • Blood preparation and full surgical team support The estimated cost for her surgery and hospital care is $20,400. For Fatima’s family, this amount is overwhelming. They cannot carry this burden alone. This surgery will: ✔️ Correct the curvature of her spine ✔️ Prevent further complications ✔️ Protect her lungs and vital organs ✔️ Give her the chance to grow up healthy and strong Every donation — big or small — brings Fatima one step closer to standing tall without pain. If you cannot donate, please share her story. Your support, your prayers, and your kindness mean everything. Let’s come together and give Fatima the future she deserves. 🤍 Goal: $20,000 Together, we can make this happen.

Gay Man in Jordan Facing Medical & Financial Crisi

Emergency

Gay Man in Jordan Facing Medical & Financial Crisi
My name is Micheal . I am 26 years old gay man and living in Amman, Jordan. Living here as a gay man has made my life extremely difficult. Over the past year and three months, I have been actively searching for work. I have attended multiple interviews and even received job offers — only to be terminated during probation when my sexuality became known. The instability has left me financially and emotionally exhausted. I am also diagnosed with bipolar disorder. For the past six to seven months, I have not been able to afford my doctor visits or medication. Without treatment, managing daily life has become increasingly difficult, and I am scared of how much worse things could get if I continue without proper care. In addition to my medical situation, I am currently eight payments behind on my student loan. I must pay at least 1,000 Jordanian dinars (approximately $1,400 USD) by the end of March to prevent legal action. This deadline is urgent and causing me significant anxiety. I am raising $5,000 to cover: • Immediate student loan payment (urgent – due end of March) • Medical appointments and bipolar medication • Outstanding bills and basic living stability • Vaccinations and basic care for my 8-year-old dog, who has been my only constant source of comfort and unconditional love during this time The most urgent need is $1,500 by March to prevent legal consequences and begin restarting medical treatment. Because GoFundMe does not directly support withdrawals to Jordan, the funds will be received by my trusted friend in [Country], who will transfer them to me immediately. I am not asking for luxury — I am asking for stability, treatment, and a chance to breathe without fear. If you cannot donate, sharing this campaign would mean just as much. Thank you for reading my story.

Dear Supporters and Partners, My name is Shanaka Maliyadda, and I have served Sri Lanka as a journalist for 31 years. Throughout my career, I have stood beside communities, reported their struggles, highlighted their resilience, and advocated for sustainable national development. Today, I am stepping beyond reporting change — to creating it. I am launching Sri Lanka’s first-ever Hydroponic Rice Farming Project, an innovative and sustainable agricultural initiative designed to empower rural communities while addressing future food security challenges. Rice is the heart of Sri Lankan life. Yet traditional paddy cultivation faces increasing difficulties — water scarcity, climate change, rising input costs, soil degradation, and unpredictable weather patterns. Hydroponic rice farming offers a revolutionary alternative: • Uses up to 80–90% less water • Reduces dependency on chemical fertilizers • Produces higher yields in controlled environments • Minimizes climate-related risks • Enables year-round cultivation • Provides sustainable income opportunities for farmers This pilot project will establish a modern hydroponic rice cultivation system that can later be replicated across the country. My vision is not simply to build a farm — but to create a model for community-based sustainable agriculture. The project will: 1. Establish demonstration hydroponic rice cultivation units 2. Train local farmers and youth in hydroponic techniques 3. Create employment opportunities within the community 4. Develop a replicable model for national expansion 5. Promote environmentally responsible farming practices Your contribution will directly support: • Construction of hydroponic growing systems • Water circulation and nutrient management systems • Greenhouse or protective structures • Seedling development and research • Farmer training workshops • Initial operational costs As a journalist, I have witnessed firsthand how rural communities struggle due to unpredictable harvests and limited opportunities. This project is my commitment to building a resilient agricultural future — one that empowers farmers, strengthens food security, and inspires innovation in Sri Lanka. Transparency and accountability will be core principles of this initiative. Regular progress updates, financial reporting, and community impact documentation will be shared with all supporters. This is more than a farming project. It is a national milestone. It is a step toward sustainable agriculture. It is a movement to empower communities. I warmly invite you to become a founding supporter of Sri Lanka’s first hydroponic rice farming initiative. Together, we can cultivate innovation, sustainability, and hope. Thank you for believing in a greener and stronger future. With gratitude, Shanaka Maliyadda Journalist | Social Advocate | Sustainable Agriculture Initiator Sri Lanka
