A Humble Appeal to Save a Malnourished Child

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter with great hope and trust in the kindness of generous hearts like yours. This is a request to extend a helping hand to a helpless family that is struggling to survive and care for their children amidst very difficult circumstances.

The husband of this family has no permanent job, and without a steady income, raising children has become almost impossible. Every day is a struggle to provide food, shelter, and medical needs. This hardship has become even more unbearable with the health condition of their third child.

This child, sadly, was born with a low birth weight and is now suffering from severe malnutrition. The mother, with deep concern and love, is pleading for help to make her child better. For this child’s recovery, proper nutrition and regular medical treatment are absolutely essential.

Every week, the child requires special milk powder costing Rs. 3,000. At least four tins are needed each month, which amounts to Rs. 12,000 monthly — a cost far beyond what the family can afford. In addition, the child must be taken to Hospital once a week, where blood and urine tests are carried out to monitor the condition. These medical visits and tests add another heavy burden on the family’s fragile financial situation.

Therefore, we humbly appeal for your assistance. Your generous support will not only help provide the nutrition and treatment required, but it will also give this child a chance to grow, recover, and live a healthy life.
