After spending more than $40,000 in humanitarian assistance and supporting over 1000 families affected by the crisis, Man wa Salwa is launching this campaign once again to continue standing alongside those in need. As Lebanon continues to face economic hardship, displacement, and growing humanitarian challenges, thousands of families remain unable to secure their most necessities. In response, Man wa Salwa, a Lebanese NGO officially registered under No. 2100 at the Ministry of Interior, is expanding its relief efforts to reach the most vulnerable communities. Since 2023, Man wa Salwa has operated a consumer cooperative in Furn El Chebbak, Beirut, dedicated to providing affordable essential goods while strengthening local solidarity and supporting Lebanese producers. Through this initiative, we have built a community network of more than 450 families. Today, the needs are greater than ever. Families displaced by conflict and economic hardship are living in shelters, schools, temporary housing, and overcrowded conditions across Lebanon. Through this campaign, we aim to: • Provide food parcels and essential household supplies • Support displaced and vulnerable families across Lebanon • Strengthen community-led relief efforts and local solidarity networks • Ensure that every donation is used directly to purchase and distribute essential goods We call on our friends, supporters, and especially members of the Lebanese diaspora to stand with us during this critical time. Ali, a gay man, is unable to find housing because his identification documents state that he is Shia and and even though he's LGBT and was living in a safe house once the authorities found out he was Shia he was asked to leave for fear of the house being targeted by Israel. He found luckily a landlord who was willing to accommodate him but the landlord wants two months of rent in advance which would be $500. Please help Ali get off the streets and not the victim of double discrimination one because he is gay and second because he is Shia.

نعمل على تطوير محتوى إعلامي مستقل يركّز على القضايا اللبنانية والإقليمية، من خلال البحث والتحليل وإنتاج المحتوى، إلى جانب برنامج «حوار بيروت» الذي يشكّل مساحة للنقاش الجاد واستضافة شخصيات وخبراء وأصحاب رأي. وفي ظل الحرب الإسرائيلية على لبنان وتداعياتها على الناس، نريد لهذا العمل الإعلامي أن يكون أيضاً مساحة لدعم النازحين معنوياً، ونقل صوت العائلات والمجتمعات التي تعيش تحت ضغط الحرب، وتسليط الضوء على معاناتهم واحتياجاتهم وقضاياهم. الهدف الأولي للحملة هو 10,000 دولار للمساعدة في: البحث وإعداد المحتوى والتقارير التصوير والمونتاج والإنتاج الإعلامي إنتاج وتطوير برنامج «حوار بيروت» تغطية قضايا النازحين والمتضررين من الحرب وإيصال صوتهم المعدات والبرامج والخدمات التقنية نشر المحتوى وتوسيع نطاق وصوله دعمكم لا يموّل مجرد فيديو أو حلقة، بل يساعد على استمرار صوت إعلامي مستقل، ومساحة للحوار، ومنبر للناس الذين يحتاجون إلى أن تُسمع أصواتهم. كل مساهمة، مهما كان حجمها، تساعدنا على الاستمرار. ساهم في دعم إعلام مستقل، وحوار يستحق أن يستمر، وصوت لا يجب أن يغيب.

Emergency Support for Displaced Families
Lebanon is once again facing a devastating humanitarian crisis, with families being displaced from their homes and struggling to access basic necessities. I am launching this campaign to provide immediate assistance to displaced families and individuals in Lebanon through three essential types of support: Food parcels containing essential food items for families who are struggling to secure their daily meals. Dignity kits containing essential hygiene and personal-care items, helping displaced women, children and families maintain their health, dignity and basic wellbeing. Basic medical kits containing essential first-aid and health supplies for people who may have limited access to medical assistance. The goal is to reach families who have been forced to leave their homes and are currently facing difficulties accessing food, hygiene products and basic health supplies. How your donation can help Every contribution, regardless of its size, can help us provide practical assistance to people affected by displacement. Funds will be used to purchase and distribute: Food parcels Hygiene and dignity items Basic medical and first-aid supplies Essential materials required for the distribution and emergency response We will prioritize families and individuals with the greatest needs, including children, women, older people and people living in particularly vulnerable conditions. Transparency I want this campaign to remain as transparent as possible. Donations will be used specifically for the humanitarian purposes described above, and I will provide updates about the assistance delivered, including information about the number of families reached and how the funds were used, while protecting beneficiaries' privacy and dignity. This is not about changing the world overnight. It is about making sure that a family can eat, a woman has access to basic hygiene supplies, and a person in need can receive essential medical support when they have nowhere else to turn.
