Help adam moving forward
Help Adam Keep Moving Forward Adam is 13 years old and living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), a progressive genetic disease that gradually weakens the muscles and makes everyday activities increasingly difficult. Despite the challenges he faces every day, Adam remains a courageous and hopeful young boy who dreams of living with dignity, continuing his education, and maintaining as much independence as possible. As his condition progresses, Adam urgently needs an electronic wheelchair that will allow him to move safely, attend appointments, participate in daily life, and reduce the physical strain on both himself and his family. In addition to the wheelchair, Adam requires ongoing medical care, therapies, medications, and specialized support to help manage his condition and improve his quality of life. The burden on Adam’s family has become overwhelming. To provide him with the care he needs, family members have had to reduce and even stop working, creating significant financial hardship. The costs of medical treatment, transportation, equipment, and daily care continue to grow while their income has dramatically decreased. Today, we are reaching out to compassionate individuals who can help make a meaningful difference in Adam’s life. Your donation will help: * Purchase an electronic wheelchair that supports Adam’s mobility and independence. * Cover essential medical expenses, treatments, and therapies. * Assist with specialized equipment and healthcare needs. * Relieve some of the financial pressure on a family dedicated entirely to caring for their son. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings Adam one step closer to receiving the support he urgently needs. If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing Adam’s story with your family, friends, and community. Together, we can help provide Adam with comfort, mobility, and hope for the future. Thank you for standing with Adam and his family during this difficult journey. Your kindness can change a child’s life. ❤️

Emergency

Hi,my name is Dasun. I’m from Gampaha , Sri Lanka
Hi, my name is Dasun Sayuru. I’m from Yakkala, Gampaha District, Sri Lanka. I work as a construction worker to support my family. Every day I help build other people’s houses, but now my own childhood home needs urgent repairs. The problem: During the last monsoon rains, our roof started leaking badly and the walls developed big cracks. When it rains, water comes inside and my parents have to use buckets. The house is old and the structure is getting weaker. My parents are getting older, and I’m really worried about their safety during the next rainy season. Why I’m asking for help: As a construction worker, I earn about Rs 3500 per day, but I don’t have steady work every month. The total repair cost for roof + walls + waterproofing is around $13,500 / Rs.445,557,1 I’ve saved Rs. 260’500 from my salary, but I’m still far short. I know how to build, but I can’t afford the materials right now. Where your money goes: $1500 = Roof tiles + cement for 1 square meter $300 = Waterproofing material for the roof $450 = 1 day labors for skilled workers $10000 = Complete wall repair with plaster $650 = Transport I promise 100% of your donation will go to materials and local workers from Yakkala. I will post photos and video updates here so you can see exactly how your help is rebuilding my home. My only dream is to give my parents a safe, dry house without leaks. They gave me everything growing up. Now I want to give them peace of mind. If you can’t donate, please share this with your friends. One share can change everything for us. Thank you so much for reading and for any support. From my heart to yours ❤️ Dasun Sayuru, Yakkala 📍 Gampaha District, Sri Lanka P.S. I’ll upload all receipts and before/after photos here. You’ll see every rupee at work.

The sun hung over Addis Ababa like a heavy, golden weight, turning the afternoons into a shimmering haze of heat. For Elias, the season wasn’t just a shift in weather; it was a desperate race against the clock. His modest hardware stall, usually bustling with contractors seeking plumbing supplies, had slowed to a crawl. The dry heat seemed to make people pause, delaying renovations and pushing construction projects into the cool promise of the autumn rains. Inside the small, corrugated-metal structure that served as both his business office and his makeshift living quarters, the temperature climbed steadily by noon. Each day, the metal roof amplified the heat until the air felt thick enough to touch. His pantry was nearly bare—a few handfuls of teff flour and a dwindling supply of dried spices. He looked out at the street, watching the dust kick up in small whirlwinds. He needed to restock the inventory—the PVC fittings and PPR pipes that were the backbone of his trade—but the capital was tied up in the waiting. He knew the cycle: if he couldn't sell, he couldn't afford the supplies to replenish, and if he couldn't replenish, he wouldn't have the means to keep the roof over his head or the food on his table for the coming month. That evening, he sat by his small, portable solar-powered lantern, reviewing his ledger. He thought of his plans for the community, the solar energy initiatives he had been drafting, and the pride he took in building toward something better. He wasn't just a merchant; he was a provider. Taking a steadying breath, he pulled out a sheet of paper. He wouldn't wait for the market to wake up on its own. He began to draft a proposal for a local builder, offering a bulk discount on high-grade plumbing materials if they could finalize their summer orders now. It was a gamble—a trade of margins for immediate liquidity. As he wrote, the frantic energy of the day began to settle. He knew the challenges were temporary. He had faced shortages before, and he had weathered the heat. Tonight, he would stretch the last of his supplies to make a simple, nourishing porridge. Tomorrow, he would walk to the construction site on the edge of the district and present his plan. He watched the sun finally dip behind the horizon, painting the sky in deep purples. He had a roof, however thin, and the will to work. In the quiet of the cooling night, he found the resolve he needed to face the summer head-on. What aspects of your current projects are you most focused on prioritizing to help stabilize your business operations this summer?
