My name is Issam Ata a survivor of Beirut Blast on august 4th. During the blast i’ve lost everything. My house my brother and our 3 floor heritage building. None of the NGO’s and INGO are helping in rebuilding old houses. NGOs are helping in Renovating houses. No one offered us any help in term of rebuilding. The army is offering Cement and Metal as much as the building needs to be rebuild again. The amount we need is for Labor, Machinery and special mix cement for the foundations. We will be using the same Old Stones ( hajar ramly) to rebuilding the building as it used to be before. The land is not for sale Nor looking to build a modern building. Only 350 houses left from Old Beirut. Our building is one of them.
