Overcoming Limitations: Fresh Start for My Family
My name is jad, and I am writing this as the only breadwinner and a son doing everything in my power to provide for my family in Lebanon. Life here is currently challenging for everyone, but for me, these challenges are compounded by a medical reality that limits my ability to work a traditional job: I live with both Narcolepsy and Cataplexy.
Living with this condition is a daily negotiation. Narcolepsy brings extreme, unpredictable daytime exhaustion that makes a standard 9-to-5 schedule impossible. Even more difficult is the Cataplexy—sudden, involuntary muscle weakness triggered by strong emotions. Because of these symptoms, I am unable to safely commute or hold a conventional position in a fast-paced or physically demanding environment.
For a long time, this left me feeling trapped. I want nothing more than to be the stable, reliable provider my elder parents deserve, but my health creates a barrier that I simply cannot cross alone.
Why Trading?
Through years of intense study and discipline, I have developed a deep expertise in technical analysis and the markets. Trading is the one profession that allows me to use my skills to generate income from home, providing a flexible, controlled environment where I can manage my health while remaining productive.
I don’t view this as a quick fix; it is my long-term career. It is a craft I have dedicated myself to, focusing on risk management and consistent market analysis. However, to transition from "surviving" to "supporting," I need to scale my operations to a level that can actually cover our family’s monthly needs in the current economic climate of Lebanon.
I am seeking to raise $10,000. This capital will serve as a foundational boost for my trading account. It will allow me to:
Apply safer, more professional risk management strategies.
Trade with enough volume to generate consistent returns for my family’s daily expenses.
Establish long-term financial security, removing the stress that currently weighs on our household.
The raised funds will be devided as follow :
1- 2000$ to fund a new Desktop setup with multiple screens.
2- 1050$ to fund an inverter+litium ion battery to have stable electricity since in lebanon we have a maximum coverage of 6 hours in every 24.
3-1000$ to cover one month of rent in advanced (350$/month) and life expenses of my family from food to medication so i can have mental easiness and trade without rushing or sabotaging my risk managment for due bills.
4-5000$ as account balance
5- 950$ as emergency money.
I am not asking for a handout; I am asking for an opportunity. I am a dedicated trader who has hit a wall caused by circumstances beyond my control from 2 wars in less than 2 years, to a huge port explosion following a massive economic collapse up to cataplexy and narcolepsy diagnosis in 2024.
