Abajour Studio was never just a café. It was a space built with love, creativity, and resilience in South Lebanon — a place where children came for art classes, where artists held workshops, where forgotten vintage pieces were brought back to life, and where a real sense of community was created.
My friend Wafaa poured her entire heart — and all her savings — into building this space from the ground up.
During the recent war, Abajour Studio was bombed and suffered severe damage.
We are raising $10,000 to help Wafaa rebuild Abajour Studio once the war is over — to bring back a space that gave so much to its community, and to give her a chance to start again.
Every contribution, no matter how small, brings us one step closer to rebuilding not just a café, but a home for art, creativity, and connection in South Lebanon.
