My name is Kavishka, I live in Sri Lanka with my mother and younger brother. Our father died of an illness when we were very young. Since then, our mother has raised us with immense strength, love and dedication.

She works a small job and earns enough money to support our basic needs and our education. Despite her hardships, she continues to do everything she can to keep us going. We are still learning and doing our best to succeed in life, but the circumstances we live in make everything more difficult.

Our house is a small, old mud house that has deteriorated severely over time. When it rains, water leaks through the roof and walls, making it almost impossible to stay dry or safe. It is no longer a suitable place to live, but we do not have the means to build a new house.
