This small shelter with a rusty tin roof and broken walls is the only home our family has. I have 3 young children, and my husband is disabled, so the burden of our entire family has fallen on me.
When it rains, water leaks through the damaged roof and the whole house gets wet. On windy nights, my children hold onto me in fear while trying to sleep. We do not even have proper toilet facilities, and it breaks my heart that I cannot provide my children with a clean and safe place to live.
I am also struggling to send my children to school. I cannot afford school supplies, clothes, or transportation costs, and it hurts me deeply to see their future fading away because of poverty.
We are not asking for a luxurious life… we only dream of a small, safe home where our children can live without fear and have hope for a better future.
