My name is Hernán, I am 42 years old, from Argentina, a husband and a father.
Like many parents around the world, my greatest dream has always been to give my children a home of their own: a safe place where they can grow with dignity and hope.

For almost two decades, my wife and I saved dollar by dollar, peso by peso. We gave up trips, luxuries, and many comforts, just to one day be able to say: “This is our home.”

In 2020, we managed to gather USD 70,000. It was the fruit of years of sacrifice. Still, it was not enough to buy a house for our family of four. Then, trusting what seemed like a legitimate international opportunity, we decided to invest in a company called Omega Pro. They promised to multiply our savings and secure our future.

A year later, we added another USD 30,000, from my wife’s severance after losing her job. The total: USD 100,000.

That money represented our dreams. It represented our future.
But we lost everything.
The company disappeared. And with it, our hope.

My Silent Struggle

Since then, I have lived with the guilt and pain of that decision. My wife was always more cautious, and it still hurts me to know I convinced her. My family still doesn’t know the truth. I don’t have the courage to tell my children that the home we dreamed of is gone.

I have spent endless nights unable to sleep, fighting against dark thoughts. At times, I felt like giving up. But every time I stood near that edge, I remembered my children’s faces, my wife’s smile… and I chose to resist one more day.

I am not strong on my own. I am strong because I love them.

Why I Am Here

I am not asking for pity. I am not asking for charity in the sense of handouts.
I am asking for an opportunity — a chance to rebuild, to repair what was lost, to one day look my family in the eyes and tell them: “We will be okay.”
