"Our names are Medhani and Buddika, and we are a family shattered by the news that has turned our world upside down. In June 2025, Buddika was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma, and the initial chemotherapy response has been poor. However, to further boost his chances, we're exploring additional treatment options for a potential cure. He's PD-L1 positive, indicating his cancer is expressing this immune marker, making him a potential candidate for immunotherapy. He's coping with incredible strength, full of life and love for our family. His resilience inspires me every day. We're planning treatment with Pembrolizumab, hoping it could give him more time, comfort, and hope. The estimated cost is USD 200,000 for ~2 years of treatment (approx.). Buddika has always been a fighter for his dreams, for his family, and for his future. Now, he needs all of us to fight alongside him.
