Saving Animals Life at Home to Visit Egypt
The midday sun reflects off the Mediterranean, a bright horizon that reminds me why I love this coast. I actually noticed the scale of the problem during my regular 10k runs along the Corniche—pounding the pavement, looking out at the water, and realizing just how much help our shoreline needs. For generations, endangered sea turtles have returned to Lebanon’s beaches to nest. But because of our country’s decades-long, deeply broken waste management system, these incredible marine reptiles have to navigate an obstacle course of plastic just to survive. Lately, life has thrown its own obstacles my way. Because of the current war, I’ve been displaced from my home. While I have savings, touching them right now is out of the question—nobody knows how long this war will last, and I already know my shop has taken some damage. When the war finally ends, every dollar I have will need to go straight into major maintenance and rebuilding my business. But even in tough times, you need something positive to look forward to—a way to clear your head and find some inspiration. For me, that dream is taking my very first airplane trip and traveling to Egypt. Since I can’t fund it traditionally, I came up with an idea to turn a personal dream into a global win for nature: For every $100 raised for my travel fund, I will commit to doing 2 hours of heavy-duty beach cleaning right here in Lebanon. Once it begins, every single minute of cleanup and every bag of plastic cleared to protect our sea turtles will be fully documented. I’ll be recording the entire process and posting the proof directly on my Instagram page: hussein_traboulsy. By supporting this journey, you aren't just helping me catch my first flight to see the world; you’re directly hiring me to protect a beautiful ecosystem that desperately needs the help. Let’s clean the coast, save the turtles, and get this trip off the ground!

Help Bundoq Reach Her Forever Home in Germany
Help Bundoq Start a New Life Bundoq needs your help. For around four years, Bundoq has been living in and around Horsh Beirut. During that time, she gave birth to a litter of puppies, and one of her pups was eventually adopted by a loving family in Germany. After raising her puppies, Bundoq was spayed thanks to the kindness of a woman who cared for her. Over the years, however, Bundoq's life has become increasingly difficult. She has always been a timid and fearful dog, but she had learned to trust a few familiar faces. As time passed, she began to be chased and bullied by other dogs in the Horsh, facing her to seek refuge under parked cars around the park. People often chased her away, threw objects at her, or beat her because they did not want her on the sidewalks. This winter was especially hard. To escape the heavy rain, the constant sound of bombs, and the tents that were set up around the area, Bundoq started hiding in the public bathrooms of Horsh Beirut. With every passing month, she became more frightened, isolated, and vulnerable. We could no longer stand by and watch her suffer. A compassionate woman in Germany has offered Bundoq a permanent home, giving her the opportunity to finally experience safety, stability, and love. Today, Bundoq has been moved to a boarding facility in Lebanon, where she will stay while we prepare all the necessary procedures for her journey. We urgently need your support to help cover the costs of bringing Bundoq to her new home. Estimated Expenses * Boarding (approximately 5 months × $150/month): $750 * Food: $100 * Vaccinations, NexGard, deworming and rabies titer test required for entry into Europe: $450 * Flight to Germany: $200 Total Needed: $1,500 Every donation, no matter the amount, brings Bundoq one step closer to a life free from fear and hardship. After years of surviving on the streets, she finally has a chance at a safe and loving future. Thank you for helping us make that future possible.
