Each club fields two teams: second-degree and first-degree players. Around 80% of players are professionals, requiring high-quality equipment to perform at their best. Currently, all players and clubs buy from a single supplier in Beirut (Aramoun): A complete professional cue set (break/jump cue + play cue + glove + chalk + bag) costs $800 minimum. A play cue alone costs $250 and up. This makes it expensive and inconvenient for local players to stay equipped, especially when competing weekly or traveling for tournaments.
