Help medical students graduate
Many medical students are struggling to graduate as this year is an exceptional year to all healthcare workers.
The situation for people in Lebanon is not particularly easy. The devastating explosion in port of Beirut area changed everything. People lost their lives, their jobs, & homes.
The explosion struck a debilitated country that had already been hit by a wide range of crises. In addition to this, the economic crisis has pushed ten of thousands of people into poverty. The minimum wage has fallen by 84% with the devaluation of the Lebanese pound. The minimum wage in Lebanon is equal to no more than 72$. Students are also expected to pay their tuition at a rate that is higher than the official rate set by the government.
