Help Abdallah Pursue His Dream Education at AUB Who I Am: My name is Abdallah, a Lebanese student recently accepted into the Applied Mathematics program at the American University of Beirut (AUB)—one of the most respected universities in the region. I come from a family of four and am the eldest child. I’ve always been deeply passionate about science, learning, and innovation. I plan to pursue a double degree in Applied Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering, combining advanced theory with practical application to help shape a better future for Lebanon. Why I Need Your Help: My dream of attending AUB is at risk due to serious financial challenges. My father works for General Security and has completed his required years of service, but continues working because our family depends on his income. He suffers from several chronic health conditions, including sleep apnea and restless leg syndrome, and must use a CPAP machine every night. My mother is unemployed, and with Lebanon’s ongoing economic crisis, we are struggling to meet basic financial needs. To make matters harder, my grandfather has been battling cancer for the past three years. His treatments have required continuous care and placed a significant financial burden on our family. We have medical documents to verify these circumstances and can provide them upon request. Despite our best efforts to manage these expenses, we simply cannot cover my university education without support. What Your Support Will Do: Government aid has helped me with schooling in the past, but it is not enough to fund my university education. This GoFundMe campaign is to raise money for my tuition and essential academic expenses at AUB. With your help, I will be able to pursue my education fully, without the heavy weight of financial stress. I have always taken initiative in my learning—completing college-level courses online through Coursera, attending free summer programs, and teaching myself German to expand my horizons. I even received an honorary award in physics at school. I learn quickly and strive to apply what I study in real and meaningful ways. Where This Will Lead: Lebanon has many talented youth, but limited access to innovation and advanced scientific research. I want to help change that. My goal is to use my education in applied mathematics and engineering to contribute to Lebanon’s scientific development and to help connect our country to global advancements. When I Need the Help: I have already been accepted into AUB, and I need funding as soon as possible to confirm my place and start in the upcoming academic year. Every donation—big or small—brings me one step closer to making this dream a reality.

From Beirut to the Stage
Hello, my name is Jad Srouji, a young Lebanese man passionate about cinema and theatre since a very young age. I’ve been accepted into the Acting program at 3iS, where I hope to pursue my studies and fulfill my dream of becoming a professional actor. Even before starting my final year of high school, I began researching schools that offer acting programs. That’s when I discovered 3iS. After several months of reflection, I decided to apply, convinced that it’s the ideal place to develop my talent and build my artistic career. Unfortunately, due to the crisis in Lebanon and the pandemic, I wasn’t able to apply at the time. I had to study in another field instead, because taking an acting course remotely made no sense to me. Acting is a profession that must be experienced in person through real exchanges, direct feedback, and group energy. Today, I want to follow my true dream. I’m still young, full of energy, creativity, humor, and imagination. But to make this dream come true, I need your help. The cost of tuition, housing, and living expenses is high, and I can’t manage it alone. That’s why I’m launching this fundraising campaign to raise 5500 $, which will help me cover part of these expenses, including tuition and allow me time to find a job once I’m there. Alone in Lebanon, with my current salary, it’s very difficult to save enough money. Every donation, even symbolic, is a step toward this dream. And even a simple share can make a big difference. Thank you !

Help me to improve a computer technology training
Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland, a silent revolution is brewing, one that has the potential to change the course of the future. Yet, this revolution is not of politics or power, but of possibility—possibilities created through access to technology and education. The Computer Technology Training Centre (CTTC) is poised to be the cornerstone of this transformation, providing the tools and knowledge for young people to thrive in an increasingly digital world. But to make this vision a reality, we need your support. The Need for Change In a world where technology is reshaping economies and societies, the youth of Somaliland are facing a challenge. Despite a growing population eager to learn and succeed, many are left behind due to a lack of access to modern technological training. In Hargeisa, many students, job seekers, and professionals struggle to gain the essential digital skills required for employment, entrepreneurship, or higher education. At the moment, the opportunities for technology training are scarce. There are few institutions offering up-to-date courses, and the existing facilities are outdated, with limited equipment and resources. This digital divide is preventing many from realizing their potential, and it’s a challenge that cannot be ignored. The Vision: A Technology Training Hub for Hargeisa We believe that the key to unlocking a brighter future for Hargeisa lies in providing accessible, world-class computer education. The Computer Technology Training Centre will be a place where anyone—regardless of their background—can come to learn, grow, and transform their future. Our vision is to establish a state-of-the-art training facility that will offer a wide range of courses, from basic computer literacy to advanced coding, graphic design, digital marketing, and cybersecurity. By equipping the youth of Hargeisa with the skills they need to compete in the global economy, we will empower them to: Secure better job opportunities in a technology-driven job market. Build their own businesses and contribute to the local economy. Pursue higher education and further their studies in fields such as software development, IT infrastructure, and digital arts. Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential in any professional field. Our Goals The establishment of the Computer Technology Training Centre in Hargeisa requires significant resources, but the potential rewards are immeasurable. Our immediate goals are: Building a Modern Training Facility: We aim to create a welcoming and fully equipped centre, with classrooms, computer labs, and spaces for collaborative learning. This will be a safe, inclusive, and dynamic environment where students can thrive. Providing Access to Technology: The centre will be equipped with the latest computers, software, and high-speed internet to ensure that students have the tools they need to learn and grow. Offering a Comprehensive Curriculum: From basic computer skills to specialized courses in coding, data science, and IT management, we will offer programs that are in demand in today’s digital economy. Community Impact: Beyond the students who enroll, the centre will impact the broader community by creating job opportunities, supporting local businesses, and promoting the development of a skilled workforce. Why This Matters The need for a Computer Technology Training Centre in Hargeisa is urgent. We are living in a time when technology is advancing at an unprecedented rate. Yet, the people who stand to benefit the most from this progress are often the ones who have the least access to it. Without the right skills and training, the youth of Hargeisa and Somaliland will be left behind in a rapidly evolving world. Your support can change that. By contributing to this cause, you are not just donating to a training centre—you are investing in the future of an entire community. Your donation will provide students with the opportunity to break free from the limitations of their circumstances and reach their full potential. Success Stories in the Making We are already seeing the potential for success among the young people of Hargeisa. Take Ahmed, for example. A 19-year-old high school graduate, Ahmed dreamed of becoming a software developer, but he had no access to the tools or training to make it happen. Through informal training programs, he learned the basics of coding, but he could only go so far. If a proper training centre had existed when Ahmed was starting out, he could have gained the skills and confidence to become a full-fledged developer sooner. Then there’s Fatima, a young woman with a passion for graphic design, but no way to learn the software needed to bring her ideas to life. She’s currently relying on borrowed computers and outdated programs, and her talent is being held back by a lack of resources. At the Computer Technology Training Centre, Fatima could thrive—learning modern design tools and techniques that could help her build a career and even start her own design agency. These stories, and countless others, could become a reality with your help. Together, we can provide the foundation for young people in Hargeisa to dream bigger, reach further, and achieve more. How You Can Help Your donation—whether big or small—will make an incredible difference. Here’s how you can contribute: Make a Financial Donation: Your contribution will go directly toward the renting of the centre, the purchase of computers and software, projectors and the recruitment of qualified instructors. Become a Corporate Partner: If you are a business, consider donating computers, software, or even offering internship opportunities for students. Spread the Word: Help us raise awareness by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and colleagues. Every person who learns about this initiative is one step closer to making it a reality. Together, We Can Build a Brighter Future The Computer Technology Training Centre in Hargeisa isn’t just a project—it’s a movement. A movement to bring opportunity, growth, and hope to the young people of Somaliland. With your support, we can equip them with the skills they need to succeed and help build a brighter, more prosperous future for all. Join us in this vital mission. Together, we can make Hargeisa a hub of technological innovation, where dreams are nurtured, potential is realized, and the future is shaped by the power of education. Donate today and help us build the future of the young youth.

Our Melody
A group of eighth-grade students from Ecole de l’Éducation Moderne in Ain, North Bekaa, Lebanon, launched a school cooperative named "Naghmati" – Our Melody, inspired by the cooperative model of Cooperazione Trentina in Trento, Italy. Focused on music, the cooperative aims to raise $5,000 to set up a fully equipped music classroom, allowing students to explore music as a new hobby and form of expression. Once the goal is achieved, the students plan to host a musical event as a heartfelt thank-you to all donors and supporters who contributed to bringing their vision to life.
