Rebuild 15 Homes, Restore 15 Futures
REBUILD 15 HOMES, RESTORE 15 FUTURES Help Flood-Affected Families in Alappuzha, Kerala, Rebuild Their Lives When floodwaters rise, families can lose in a few hours what took them a lifetime to build. This campaign aims to raise $15,000 to support up to 15 eligible flood-affected families in Alappuzha District, Kerala, India. Families will be selected based on verified need, and support will depend on the level of damage and the funds available. Our goal is to help eligible families repair or rebuild simple, safe living spaces and begin again with dignity. This campaign is not about building luxury homes. It is about helping families have a secure roof, safe walls, a dry place to sleep, and the basic essentials needed to restart daily life. HOW YOUR DONATION CAN HELP Funds raised may be used for: • Cement, bricks, sand, roofing sheets, and other essential building materials • Basic home repairs and reconstruction work • Essential construction and labour costs • Doors, windows, and basic electrical work • Safe sleeping and living spaces • Essential household items for families starting again • Transport and delivery of essential building materials OUR $15,000 GOAL Our aim is to support up to 15 eligible families, with an average of up to $1,000 in assistance per family. The actual amount of support may vary according to each family's verified needs and the level of damage to their home. Some families may need urgent roof repairs. Others may need walls, doors, windows, basic electrical work, or essential household items. Support will be based on verified needs rather than divided equally without considering each family's situation. HOW FAMILIES WILL BE SELECTED Potential beneficiaries will be assessed based on actual flood-related housing damage, financial need, and the urgency of their situation. No family is being presented as a confirmed beneficiary until their circumstances have been verified. TRANSPARENCY MATTERS As the campaign progresses and eligible families are identified, we aim to share updates, photographs, receipts, and information about how funds are used whenever possible, while respecting the dignity and privacy of the families receiving support. The campaign cover image is an illustrative image and is not a photograph of actual beneficiaries. Every contribution matters. $10 can help purchase basic materials. $25 can contribute toward doors, windows, or household essentials. $50 can support essential repair work. $100 or more can make a meaningful contribution toward restoring a family's living space. You do not have to rebuild an entire home by yourself. Together, many small acts of kindness can help families move from uncertainty toward safety. A flood can damage a house in a matter of hours, but compassion can help rebuild hope for years to come. Please donate what you can and share this campaign with your friends, family, and community. Together, we can help up to 15 eligible families in Alappuzha move toward a safer new beginning. GOAL: $15,000 UP TO 15 FAMILIES. NEW BEGINNINGS. ONE SHARED HOPE. Every safe home means more than walls and a roof. It means safety for a child. Peace of mind for a parent. Dignity for an elderly family member. And hope for an entire family. Thank you for helping families move one step closer to a safe place to call home.

Support Lebanon's Steadfastness- renewed

Support Lebanon's Steadfastness- renewed
Between March and May 2026, we were able to raise 7740 USD through two online fundraisers and two fundraising events (film screening & panel). Money was sent weekly to initiatives/networks on the ground, and individuals supporting families in schools and rented houses across Lebanon. For more details, check the pinned posts on @nayelrahi 's instagram account. While the world speaks of ceasefires and agreements, the Israeli war on Lebanon continues. Israel's ethnic cleansing of southern Lebanon & its occupation of over 50 southern towns, continue. Israel continues to occupy towns in southern Lebanon; many of those who have gone back to their homes have had to evacuate again after returning due to the occupation's relentless terrorizing strikes. Israel continues to target life and survival-enabling infrastructure in the south of the country. The tens of families who went back to Nabatieh a few weeks ago have had to leave again because the city remains out of power - stripped of basic infrastructure and survival pathways - water pumping stations, wastewater plants, and hospitals struck deliberately and damaged to prevent the people of the land from returning. People are slowly coming to terms with what they have lost all the while being displaced and unable to access their homes and lands. We have not received any donations in June. The final amount of ~500 USD was sent on May 20 to support the steadfastness of the people of one southern town- now almost entirely razed to the ground -to purchase diapers, baby formula, and medication for its families - some of whom remain steadfast in neighboring towns, and many now displaced across the country. Friends receiving this money in Lebanon to keep the support going are exhausted, lost kin & friends, and are shouldering so, so much through the loss. Funds are dwindling and donations are few and far between, but I'm planning to continue fundraising to support the people of these towns - as much as possible. This fundraiser is renewed following the demand of a few people who would like to donate but do not have paypal and/or are not based in Canada. Every dollar helps.

A Home for My Children

Emergency

A Home for My Children
Help Me Give My Children a Home Again My name is Ali. I am a husband, a father of two young children, and a hardworking man from South Lebanon. I never imagined that one day I would have to ask strangers for help. On **April 14, 2026**, our lives changed forever. The building where we lived in Jouaiya, in the Tyre District of South Lebanon, was completely destroyed during the war. Along with it, we lost the apartment we were renting and most of the furniture and belongings we had spent years working to build. In a single day, the place we called home disappeared. Today, my wife, our two little children, and I live in a very small rented apartment with only one bedroom and one living room. My oldest child is only three and a half years old, and my youngest is, just one year and ten months old. At an age when they should feel safe and carefree, they have already experienced the uncertainty of losing their home. Like every father, I want to protect my children. I want them to grow up in a place where they feel safe, where they can sleep peacefully, play freely, and create happy memories. Since losing our home, I have done everything I can to rebuild our lives. I work two jobs, often leaving before my children wake up and returning home after they are asleep. I push myself every day because I refuse to give up on my family. Even with all those hours of work, my income is only enough to cover our basic living expenses. Rent, food, utilities, and daily necessities leave nothing behind to save toward buying another home. The hardest part isn't the exhaustion. It's watching my children grow while I'm away trying to earn enough just to keep us going. Every missed bedtime story, every family dinner I couldn't be there for, every hug I missed because I was working, those are moments I will never get back. I don't dream of owning a luxury home. I simply dream of opening the door to a modest place that my children can truly call home a place where they won't have to worry about moving again, where they can grow up with stability, dignity, and hope. This campaign is my attempt to make that dream possible. The funds raised will go toward purchasing a modest family home and covering the essential costs of rebuilding our lives after everything we lost. Every donation will be used solely for housing-related expenses, and we are committed to sharing updates and being fully transparent throughout this journey. If you are able to support us, thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you are unable to donate, sharing our story with others is a gift that costs nothing but could change our lives. To everyone who took the time to read our story, thank you for giving my family something we have been holding onto through all of this: **Hope.** With heartfelt gratitude, **Ali, my wife, and our two little children** Alternative Way to Support If you prefer not to donate through the fundraising platform, you can also support our family directly through Western Union. Recipient: Ali Mahmoud Ismail Country: Lebanon City: Sour Phone: +96170807289 After sending a donation, if you wish, you can contact us with the transfer details so we can safely receive the funds and personally thank you for your kindness. Every contribution, no matter the amount, brings our family one step closer to having a safe place to call home. If you're unable to donate, simply sharing our story with others is another meaningful way to help.
