From Fire to Medical Crisis: Help Us Start Again
We are a couple from Lebanon, aged 30 and 35, reaching out with hope after enduring one hardship after another. Last year, our rented home caught fire due to an electrical issue. In a matter of moments, we lost nearly everything we had worked for — our belongings, our savings, household essentials, and even beloved pets, including our dog and birds. The emotional and financial impact was devastating. Since then, we have been trying to rebuild with very limited means. Half of the house still remains damaged and urgently requires repairs, including: * rebuilding damaged sections * installing an aluminum balcony cover * repairing and replacing wooden doors * repainting burned walls * fixing broken and burned glass To survive after the fire, we were forced to sell our car to cover basic living expenses and replace only the most essential items such as clothes, towels, a small sofa, and basic electrical appliances. Just as we were trying to recover, another crisis struck. Two months ago, my husband was admitted to the ICU with severe acute pancreatitis, dangerously high blood sugar, high triglycerides, and severe inflammation. We had to urgently raise money just to afford admission to a government hospital. After 10 difficult days in the hospital, he was discharged, but the medical journey is far from over. He now requires: * repeated scans and medical tests * follow-up doctor visits * insulin treatment * medications * a strict medical diet At this point, we are no longer able to afford these essential medical needs. My husband works 12 hours a day for only $500 per month, and this month I lost my job due to the war-related situation affecting my company. We are now struggling to afford: * rent * electricity bills * food * medication * dog food for our two dogs At the moment, we are feeding our dogs rice because we can no longer afford pet food. We have also started relying on food donations from a local NGO and have accumulated debt at our local market just to survive. We are now due for 2 month’s rent, with electricity bills continuing to pile up. To make things even harder, we must move out of this house by June because the owner needs it back. Before leaving, we are also required to repair the damaged property and pay all due rent. We do not have family support or a support system to rely on. This fundraiser is our last hope to help us survive this period, settle urgent medical and living expenses, and give us a chance to begin again. Goal: $3,000 The funds will be used for: * doctor bills * medical tests and repeated scans * insulin and medication * rent and electricity * food and daily essentials * dog food * house repair and rebuilding costs We have supporting invoices, prescriptions, medical reports, and photos available. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference. If you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser and keep us in your prayers. Thank you for giving us hope.

help me buy a car to get to work

Emergency

help me buy a car to get to work
My name is *Sasindu , and I’m asking for help because I’m about to lose the one thing that can keep my family afloat: my job. After 8 months of unemployment and over 200 applications, I finally got hired last week as a warehouse associate. It’s full-time, $18/hr, with benefits. It’s the first real chance I’ve had to break the cycle of debt and instability. There’s just one problem I didn’t see coming: *I can’t get there*. The job is 23 miles from home in Jalalabad, and my shift starts at 4:00 AM. There are no buses running that early. No trains. No coworkers on my route. I’ve been paying $32–$38 every morning for rides just to prove I’m reliable. In 10 days, I’ve spent $350 I don’t have. My bank account is down to $19. If I miss one shift, company policy says I’m terminated during probation. *I’m one missed ride away from being unemployed again.* I’m not asking for a luxury. I’m asking for a used, reliable car — something like a 2010-2013 Toyota Corolla or Honda Civic — so I can drive myself to work and keep this job. I’ve found options locally for $2,800–$3,200. *My goal is $3,500* to cover: 1. *$3,000* – Used car in safe, running condition 2. *$300* – Tax, title, and registration 3. *$200* – First month of basic insurance + gas to get started I will post the bill of sale, registration, and photos of the car the day I buy it. Every single dollar will be accounted for. This isn’t a handout — it’s a hand up. Once I’m stable, I plan to pay it forward. I’m 26 and I’m tired of feeling stuck. I want to work. I want to provide. I just need the tool to get there. If you’ve ever been one car away from stability, you know what this means. *If 700 people give $5, I keep my job. If 350 people give $10, my family eats this month.* If you can’t donate, sharing this is free and could save me. Please, don’t let transportation be the reason I lose this chance. Help me get to work so I can work for everything else. Thank you for reading, for caring, and for believing in second chances. 🙏 #HelpMeGetToWork #CarDonation #SasinduNeedsACar #NewJob #UrgentHelp #SupportSasindu #Jalalabad #CommunitySupport #KeepMyJob #26AndFighting #DonateForTransport #WorkTransportation

Please Save My Beloved Father's Life..

Please Save My Beloved Father's Life..
Please Help Me Save My beloved father I never will have someone in my whole life to talk joy hanging with like I do with my father if he left me alone I can't believe how my life going to be without him so please help me im really broken now. I need ot save him. The medical team has confirmed that my father requires at least 3 months of intensive hospital care. The estimated costs for his treatment and surgeries have reached approximately will be around $50,000 to $60.00 — an amount that is completely beyond our family's reach. We are fighting for his life, but we cannot do it alone My name is Alaa, and I am writing this from a small room in Egypt, sitting beside my father’s bed, listening to the labored breathing of a man who spent his entire life making sure I never had to suffer or try the wrong things the way he saw or tried in his life First thing first, Over 30 years ago, a car accident left my father with shards of glass embedded near his spine. Because of the costs and the need to provide for us, he neglected his own pain. He chose to work through the agony of Ankylosing Spondylitis (an autoimmune disease that fuses the spine) just to ensure my siblings and I could get an education and "become something" in society. He lived on cortisone injections for decades, a temporary fix that eventually caused his adrenal glands to fail and his body to wither. But he never complained. He walked with a curved, frozen back so that we could walk with our heads held high. The Current Crisis: Two weeks ago, our world collapsed. What started as chest pain turned out to be a heart attack (Angina). At the hospital, we discovered the devastating truth: His heart is functioning at only 20%. His sole remaining kidney is also at 20%. He has a fractured hip and shattered bones in his right hand. In Egypt, healthcare is a luxury we can no longer afford. We have spent every penny we have. We’ve been turned away from hospitals because we couldn't provide enough blood donors or pay the mounting "fees." Two days ago, we were sent home. The doctors told us they had done what they could, which felt like a polite way of saying, "Take him home to die." Why I am Asking for Help: I am watching my father fade away. He is in constant pain, unable to eat or drink properly, and we are struggling to provide even the most basic medical necessities: A Medical Bed: To prevent bedsores and help him breathe> Home Nursing: To manage his catheter and IV fluids, as his right hand is severely swollen and needs professional care. Life-Saving Medication: Many of the heart and kidney meds he needs are not available in government hospitals and must be bought privately and they are too much expansive. My monthly salary doesn't even cover five days of nursing care and what is better for him to stay hospital until he gets so well but sadly that's too much high hope. I am a son watching his father and the the best friend I have ever talk with comfortable break, and I am powerless to stop it and try to make things better for him. How You Can Help: I am not asking for a miracle surgery; I am asking for dignity. I am asking for the means to keep him comfortable, to manage his pain, and to give him a fighting chance to stabilize. Every dollar, every pound, every share of this story is a breath of air for him. If you cannot donate, please pray for us or share this link. He sacrificed his body so I could have a life. Now, I am doing everything in my power to save him. Thank you for reading/watching the video until the end. Thank you for helping me bring my father back from the edge—whether by donating, offering medical advice, or simply sharing this donation link/video.
