Hello, my name is Tala, and my world was shattered on October 7th. That day, I lost everything—my home, my family, and the future I had always dreamed of. I’m reaching out today because I need your help to rebuild my life, find hope again, and pursue the dreams I once had.
Before that tragic day, my life was filled with love and hope. I was surrounded by my family in our happy home, where my dreams for the future seemed within reach. I had big plans to study abroad, to explore my passions for drawing and writing, and to make a difference in the world.
But on October 7th, everything changed. My family and I were forced to flee our home to escape airstrikes and bombings. We lost our home, our school, and the life we once knew. Now, we are living in makeshift shelters, struggling with no money, no security, and no hope.
Our situation is heartbreaking. Some days, we go with little food, and my younger siblings are suffering. I feel an overwhelming responsibility to care for them, but no matter how hard we try, we can’t seem to get back on our feet. My father, who always worked so hard to provide for us, has lost everything too. Despite his best efforts, we continue to struggle with no way to rebuild.
