Help My Sister, Pragya, Become Debt-Free and Rebuild Her Life
My name is Alok, and today I am reaching out with a humble request on behalf of my sister, Pragya.
This is not an easy thing for our family to do. Asking for help is never comfortable, but sometimes life brings challenges that are simply too difficult to overcome alone. Today, we are hoping that the kindness and compassion of people like you can help my sister get a fresh start.
A few years ago, Pragya had a dream of becoming financially independent and providing a better future for her family. Like many hardworking people, she believed that starting her own business would help her achieve that dream. With courage and determination, she took a bank loan of ₹20,00,000 (20 lakh INR) to open a beauty salon.
She invested everything she had—her time, her energy, her savings, and her hopes—into making the salon successful. She worked long hours, served her clients with dedication, and never stopped believing that her business would grow.
Unfortunately, life did not go as planned.
Because of several unavoidable circumstances, the salon could not generate enough income to survive. Despite trying everything possible to keep it running, she eventually had no choice but to close the business. Closing the salon was one of the most painful decisions she has ever had to make.
While the business closed, the bank loan remained.
Today, the weight of that loan has become an enormous financial burden on her and her family. The monthly repayments are far beyond what she can comfortably afford, and the stress of carrying this debt has affected every aspect of her life.
Pragya is a loving mother of three wonderful children—two sons and one daughter. Every day, her biggest priority is making sure they have food on the table, a safe home, and the opportunity to continue their education. She wants nothing more than to give them a secure and hopeful future.
She has never given up.
Instead of losing hope, Pragya started working again. She is currently employed as a beauty service professional in Delhi, where she works hard every day to support her family. Her salary helps cover essential household expenses such as rent, food, school-related needs, and daily living costs.
However, after meeting these basic responsibilities, there is very little left to make meaningful progress on such a large bank loan.
It is important for everyone reading this to know that Pragya is not asking others to take responsibility for her life. She continues to work honestly and earn a living through her own efforts. She is doing everything she can. The only challenge is that the size of the debt has become impossible to overcome with her current income.
That is why we have turned to crowdfunding.
Our goal is simple and transparent: every single money raised through this campaign will be used solely to repay her outstanding bank loan. The funds will not be used for personal shopping, travel, luxury items, or any other private expenses. Our focus is only one—to reduce and ultimately clear the bank debt that has been weighing on her life for so long.
Becoming debt-free would completely change her future. It would remove years of financial stress, allow her to focus on her children without constant worry, and give her the opportunity to rebuild her life with confidence and dignity.
