Help Complete Our Half-Built Dream
To the Kind-hearted and Noble Souls, In a remote village in Sri Lanka, my family and I have spent our lives working the land. We are humble farmers who have always believed in the dignity of hard work. For years, our only dream has been to build a safe and permanent home for our family-a sanctuary where we can live without fear of the elements. We started this journey with hope, pouring every cent of our savings into the foundation and walls. However, with the unprecedented economic crisis in Sri Lanka and the skyrocketing costs of building materials, our construction has come to a complete standstill. Today, we stand before a half-finished house that we cannot afford to complete. To finish the remaining construction—roofing, flooring, and basic safety—we urgently need $6,500 USD. Why We Need Your Help • The Economic Struggle: As farmers, our income is barely enough to survive. Saving such a large sum in the current economy is a mountain we cannot climb alone. • A Simple Dream: We aren't looking for luxury; we are simply seeking a safe roof to shield our family. • Transparency & Honesty: We understand that trust is everything. This is a genuine plea from a family in need. We are more than willing to provide personal identification, photos of the current state of the house, or any other verification you may require to feel secure in your kindness. Our Gratitude Your humanity and kindness mean the world to us. Whether it is a small donation or simply sharing our story, we will be eternally grateful. We respect the hard-earned money you choose to share with us, and we promise it will go directly toward the bricks and mortar of our future. Thank you for seeing our struggle and for your incredible compassion. May your kindness return to you a thousandfold.

Help Me Get Back on the Road—and See My Fam!
Hi everyone, I’m reaching out with a humble heart, hoping for support during a challenging time, not just for me, but for my family. I am a parent of three kids, and everything I do is to provide for them and stay present in their lives. I also work as a Virtual Assistant (VA), and my car plays a big role in helping me stay connected, reliable, and able to fulfill my responsibilities, even while on the move. I currently own a 2022 Changan Alsvin Platinum DCT, which has been essential for both my work and daily life. Recently, it developed a serious transmission issue and needs a TCM update, which can only be done at an authorized Changan Auto service center in Cebu. Traveling from Maigo, Lanao del Norte to Cebu, along with repair and accommodation costs, is something I cannot manage on my own right now. I am planning to make this trip on April 26, so I can fix the issue as soon as possible and continue working without interruption. As a VA, I need to stay online and productive, even while traveling, because my income supports my children and our daily needs. After resolving my car situation, I’m also hoping to travel to Manila to visit my family. Being able to reconnect with loved ones during this time would mean so much for me and my kids. I am humbly trying to raise an amount of $2,000 USD to cover: - Travel to Cebu - Vehicle repair and TCM update - Accommodation and basic expenses - Travel to Manila to reunite with family If you would like to support me, you can donate through this fundraiser or directly via PayPal: PayPal: https://paypal.me/emersonpacete Every contribution, no matter the amount. helps me stay on track with my work, support my children, and move forward during this difficult time. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness, support, and for being part of this journey with me and my family. With gratitude, Emerson
