A Dream Across the Ocean: My Journey to a PhD growing up, I was always fascinated by sustainbility and recycle material. It was more than a subject in a book; it was a puzzle I was determined to solve, a passion that drove me. I spent countless hours reading, researching, and dreaming of a future where I could dedicate my life to this work. However, my stipend now over and I am waiting my public defence. While my tuition is taken care of, I am responsible for my living expensesrent, groceries, utilities, and a student bus pass and my family. These are the basic costs of life that stand between me and the completion of my PhD. This is where I need your help. I am so close to achieving my dream. For obtaining a house, I am requesting financial assistance. I, S.A. Jeewan Chaminda Kumara, do not currently own a house. At present, I live in a rented home by paying a monthly rental fee. I am a married person and the father of three children – two sons and one daughter aged 2 years. By working as a laborer, I strive to overcome the struggles of life while providing for my wife and three children. Both my sons attend school. With the daily wages I earn, I am unable to save enough money to purchase a house of my own. From my daily income, I am compelled to manage the monthly house rent as well as the educational expenses and food for my children. For the future of my children, I am determined to obtain a permanent home. Therefore, I kindly and humbly request a little support from all of you to achieve this. Dear Sir / Madam, I'm Indu Karunanayake. In my family i m having a daughter (8) a son (5). I worked as a technical officer in telecommunication field up to 2022 end. But unfortunately, due that company's decision they desired to resign their stuff.  I also include to that sent and i lost my job. Then i start a pure coconut oil business with purchased oil mile, cutter and a dehydrate machine by getting a loan from a bank and invest my saved money. At that period machine priced were higher that nowadays machines price because of Sri Lankas economy issue. Due to Sri Lankas economic issue and some deceases comes to coconut trees coconut purchase price increased too much. Due this issue i totally loss to build my own business.  I had to sell my purchased all machine in under value. Now i joined a small network company and doing with lots of difficulties to giving a good education to my child's.   If any sir / Madam can help me to give some hands to build my children with better education, it will be a blessing to me and God will always with you for your kindness.    Thank you.
