My name is *Jonathan* from Kampala, Uganda. I am a father to *35 orphaned children* who have no mother, no father, no food, and no beds. These children are ages 1 to 12. Some lost parents to sickness, some were abandoned. Now we live together as one family in a small rented house, but we are struggling every day. *Every morning they ask me:* "Uncle Jonathan, will we eat today?" Sometimes I have no answer. We sleep on the cold floor. We eat once a day - only porridge - when God provides through kind people like you.

My 94-year-old mother, two daughters aged 14 and 15, and my wife have been living in a rented house for 17 years. I do not have a permanent job and do not have a stable income, property, or house. Although I ran a small business, it also suffered due to the current economic situation. Therefore, the children's education, food, and rent payments for the rented house have become very serious problems. At present, the house we live in and the shop attached to it face the Bandarawela-Badulla road. Therefore, I strongly believe that by running that shop as a cafe, we will be able to find solutions to the above pressing problems and brighten the future of the children.
