Sunday, December 28, Kaylee and Jason's home in Washington, DC was the site of an unimaginable tragedy. While they were out of town, their home was broken into, robbed, vandalized, and intentionally set on fire. Kaylee and Jason-both active-duty members of the U.S. Space Force-and their beautiful baby girl, Rae, lost pretty much everything they owned. From clothing and furniture to baby items, keepsakes, and essentials-nothing was spared. Tragically, in the fire they also lost their beloved cat, Marlee, who was a cherished part of their family. The emotional toll of this loss, on top of the destruction of their home, is overwhelming. We are incredibly grateful that Kaylee, Jason, and Rae were not home at the time and are physically safe.
