My name is not important my children’s future is. I am a single mother of two young children, 5 and 3 years old, trying to rebuild my life after a painful divorce. When my marriage ended, I lost almost everything. My former partner took nearly all our belongings, including things I had worked hard to buy myself. Years of effort disappeared, leaving me starting over from nothing.
What many people don’t see is the silent struggle of financial abuse. While I was still married, I realized I needed a way to protect myself and my children. In secret, I purchased 10 hectares of farmland, hoping that one day it could give us safety, stability, and independence.
