Help Us Give a Poor Family in Sri Lanka a Permanent Home
In Sri Lanka, thousands of families live without the basic security of a proper home. Many are forced to live in temporary shelters, unsafe environments, or overcrowded spaces that lack the most essential needs—clean water, privacy, safety, and stability. Today, we invite you to be part of a life-changing mission: to buy a piece of land and build a small house for a poor, struggling family who has endured years of hardship.
This is more than just a construction project. It is a journey of hope, dignity, and renewal. The family we are supporting has been living in extremely difficult conditions—without a permanent roof over their heads, without land of their own, and without the basic rights and comforts that every human being deserves. Despite working hard every day to survive, they simply cannot escape the cycle of poverty without help.
Our goal is to raise between Rs. 4,000,000 and 6,000,000 to make this dream a reality. This amount will cover:
Land Purchase (Rs. 2,500,000 – 4,000,000): A small but safe and legal plot of land in a rural or semi-urban area.
Construction Costs (Rs. 1,500,000 – 2,000,000): Building a modest, two-bedroom house with a living area, basic kitchen, and toilet facilities.
Essential Utilities & Furnishings: Access to water, electricity, and simple furniture for day-to-day living.
Even the smallest contribution can make a big difference. Every brick, every window, and every drop of cement will be a part of a safe and loving home—built not only with materials, but with compassion.
Owning land and a house will finally give this family the security they’ve never had. It will allow their children to go to school without fear of displacement. It will let the parents focus on earning a livelihood instead of constantly worrying about where they will sleep next week.
