HELP Matthew Family Flee Conflict in DR Congo
Hi, my name is Matthew. I’m originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and I’m currently studying in Turkey, thanks to years of sacrifice by my family—especially my father, who gave everything he could so I could have a better future. Today, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. Due to the escalating conflict between the DRC and Rwanda, my family is in serious danger. The situation on the ground is growing more unstable by the day, and I’m terrified for their safety. My younger brother is in a wheelchair and requires special care. My father recently lost his job, and with everything he’s already sacrificed to support my studies abroad, he now has nothing left. My family is struggling to survive, let alone relocate to a safer place. That’s why I’m asking for your help. I’m trying to raise $3,000 USD to help my family leave DRC and find safety in a more secure country. These funds will go toward: Emergency travel and relocation expenses Medical support and care for my brother Temporary housing and basic living needs while they start over I never imagined I’d have to start asking for help, but the truth is we can’t do this on my own. Any contribution, no matter how small, can make a huge difference. Even sharing this with others who may want to help would mean the world to me. Thank you for standing with us during this critical moment. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your support, your kindness, and your prayers. With gratitude, Matthew

Help a Father of Four Recover
Short Summary: A devoted father and sole provider for his sick mother, brother, wife, and four children is facing a devastating financial crisis. His bank account has been frozen for over 7 months, and he urgently needs your help to restore stability for his family. This is a call for compassion, dignity, and action. Full Story: Some people stand strong for everyone — until they collapse under the weight they’ve been silently carrying. This is one of those stories. For years, this man has carried his entire family on his back: His elderly, sick mother and brother who depend on him daily. His wife and four children, who rely on him for everything — from shelter to education to love. Despite every challenge, he’s never complained. He’s never asked for help. But now, he has no choice. After acting as a guarantor for a friend’s investment that went wrong, his bank accounts were frozen — and have remained frozen for over seven months. During this time: He has had no regular income. He’s been struggling silently to keep his family afloat. Basic needs like rent, school tuition, and utilities have become overwhelming burdens. What We’re Raising Funds For: Need Amount (JOD) Account Unfreeze & Debt Aid 6,000 School Fees (2 years) 12,000 House Rent (accumulated) 10,000 Utilities (electricity/water) 1,000 🔶 Total Goal 29,000 JOD Why Support Matters: He is not asking for charity — he is asking for a second chance. He is willing to repay every dinar, but he needs your help to make it to that starting line again. Even a small donation will bring light into the lives of six people who depend on him every single day. Please support, share, or contribute — whatever you can. Because sometimes, the strongest people need a hand too.

We deserve to feel safe

Family

We deserve to feel safe
We are a small, close-knit family from South Africa—just parents trying to build a better life for our children. But our home country is no longer a place where we feel safe, protected, or able to thrive. Every day, we live under the weight of fear—uncertain about our future, our livelihoods, and the safety of our children. Our story is not political. It’s personal. We are not seeking pity. We are seeking possibility. South Africa is a land we love, but the socio-political climate has made it difficult for many families like ours to live with dignity, opportunity, and freedom. As a white family, we’ve seen opportunities systematically closed to us. Policies and pressures have left us without options. Threats—both spoken and unspoken—make everyday life feel like a struggle for survival. What we want is simple: To feel safe in our home and community To sleep without fear To provide a hopeful future for our children To contribute to a country where hard work is rewarded and rights are respected We’re raising funds to emigrate and start over in a place where we can work, contribute, and raise our children with the security every family deserves. Your donation will go toward: Immigration and visa application fees Travel costs and basic relocation expenses Short-term accommodation and setup costs while we settle and find work We are not looking for a handout—we are looking for a lifeline. Any support you can offer will help us take this life-changing step. Even if you can’t donate, sharing our story means the world to us. From our family to yours, thank you for reading, caring, and standing with us.
