Hi , my name Dr. ALmonther Jbara During wars, it is difficult to access traditional medicines due to bombing, blocking roads, and unjust siege. The majority of pharmacies in Gaza have become empty of the simplest types of medicines, including painkillers and antibiotics. More than 1.4 million Palestinian citizens lack the simplest types of medicines, such as painkillers and antibiotics, so we have resorted to some alternative medicines as options for treatment and alleviating symptoms as much as possible. These alternative medicines can include medicinal herbs, nutritional supplements, natural oils, and folk remedies. We have formed a charitable work team dedicated to distributing alternative medicines. Help Prisoners get life-saving medication
Amidst the multiple crises plaguing Lebanon, new challenges continue to emerge, compounding the struggles of incarcerated individuals and depriving them of one of their fundamental rights: access to healthcare and medication. As if the situation could not have been worse for people in overcrowded prisons in Lebanon, medical personnel have been on a strike and no medication is available. This issue is exacerbated in most Lebanese prisons, where inmates suffering from mental health issues have had to face their mental hurdles alone in the absence of the proper medication. Today, a growing number of people are being denied the medication they need which could worsen their mental health status and obstruct them from having an effective rehabilitation process that could help them reintegrate into society. Ignoring this fact and turning a blind eye to their plight would render us complicit in their demise. We cannot stand idly and watch as their rights are being violated. Mental health is as important as physical health and should be treated as such. More than ever, these people need our help and sense of collective humanity. To this end, the Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH) is launching a fundraising campaign with a mission to provide these individuals with the urgent medical care they need and unequivocally deserve. Our immediate goal is to secure the monthly medication required for 60 prisoners suffering from mental health issues and disorders, totaling approximately 420 boxes of various medications every month. Donate now to ensure that incarcerated individuals receive the life-altering medication they urgently need. Your donation can make a significant impact and help an individual with severe mental health issues get on the right path towards recovery and engage in society as an active and productive individual. Together we can make a difference. في خضم الازمات المتعددة التي يواجهها لبنان اليوم، تظهر عواقب جديدة تحول دون تأمين حقوق السجناء الأساسية وأهمها حقّ الحصول على الرعاية الصحية والأدوية في السجون. بالإضافة إلى سوء الأوضاع التي يمرّ بها المعتقلين والتي لم نشهدها سابقاً، إنّ الطاقم الطبي في معظم السجون اللبنانية أعلن الاضراب المفتوح ولم تعد العديد من الأدوية الأساسية متوفرة. فتتفاقم اليوم أوضاع السجناء الذين يعانون من اضطرابات نفسية. وإثر ذلك، يواجه هؤلاء السجناء مشاكلهم النفسية من دون تلقي علاجهم الموصوف. اليوم، ازداد عدد السجناء المحرومين من الأدوية التي هم بأمسّ الحاجة اليها. وقد تزداد حالتهم سوءاً ان لم يتلقوا علاجهم الموصوف، كما قد يقف ذلك في وجه عملية إعادة التأهيل الضرورية للانخراط بالمجتمع من جديد. فغض النظر عن هذه المأساة يجعلنا جميعاً شركاء في الجريمة التي تُرتكب بحقهم. لذا لا نستطيع أن نبقى مكتوفي الأيدي أمام خرق فاضح لحقوقهم. إنّ الصحة النفسية لا تقل أهمية عن الصحة الجسدية، وينبغي التعامل معها على هذا الأساس. اليوم أكثر من أي وقت مضى، هؤلاء الأفراد بأمسّ الحاجة إلينا، إلى انسانيتنا ومساعدتنا غير المشروطة. لذا، أطلق المركز اللبناني لحقوق الانسان حملة تبرع تهدف إلى تأمين الرعاية الطبية العاجلة التي يحتاجها السجناء ويستحقونها بشكل قاطع. يتمثّل هدفنا الطارئ بتأمين احتياجاتهم الطبية لشهر كامل، أي حوالي 420 علبة أدوية قد تغير مجرى حياة حوالي 60 سجين. تبرّع واسمح للمركز أن يؤمن لهؤلاء السجناء الأدوية التي هم بأمس الحاجة إليها، فقد تحدث مساعداتك تغيراً جذرياً في حياة هؤلاء السجناء وتساهم بمساعد أفراد يعانون من اضطرابات نفسية، على سلك الطريق الصحيح نحو التعافي والانخراط بالمجتمع كأفراد منتجة وناشطة. معاً نستطيع إحداث تغيير في حياتهم.

The Reason behind the campaign: Lebanese women are facing period poverty, mainly difficulties in accessing menstrual hygiene tools because sanitary pads have become expensive and have increased by 320%. One pack was sold at 3.250 LL and nowadays it is sold for 30.000LL on average. 41.8%* have reduced the sanitary pads they use during their menstrual cycle or use the same pad for longer period. Also 76.5%* of females in Lebanon expressed difficulty in accessing menstrual products due to the sharp increase in prices. Period poverty is not only about hygiene and medical complication but also mental health. It may limit access to school, playing on sports team, socializing and this is alarming and must be considered. *According to Fe-Male study in collaboration with Plan International in 2021 Objective: Our target is to distribute 6 packs of sanitary pads per Lebanese women aged between 12 and 45 years old, so we can help her for around 4 months. Our aim is to help 15000 Lebanese woman from all over the country. The more we collect the more we help!

A campaign managed by Expats in Lebanon group https://www.facebook.com/groups/expatsinlebanon Like we did after august 4th, we managed to help 10's families for about 6-7 months through donations from the amazing members and the help of many volunteers. "Expats in Lebanon" will again put all the resources and networks reach to help as much as possible the people living in Lebanon. Medicines and baby food are the main topics nowadays and it's a life and death situation in most cases. One of the issues that we are facing is finding people coming into Lebanon. I and other volunteers are willing to fly at their own expense to nearby countries and bring everything that is needed and come back with full suitcases or also find other travelers that are willing to help, the mission will be on a regular basis until the end of the donations. Help us support ending period poverty in Lebanon
The aim of this campaign is to support 50 women in vulnerable conditions by providing them with sanitary pads at reduced prices every month for one year. We will supply the sanitary pads to Therese for free, allowing her to sell them for the vulnerable women of the neighborhood at her Dekkéne in Gemmayze, at a subsidized price, and benefit herself from the profits in order to help her support the 3 families she’s responsible for. Reaching our target will allow us to support other small grocery shop owners like Therese. As a result of the economic crisis that hit Lebanon, the decimation of household incomes and hyperinflation of prices, a 500% increase in sanitary products has limited 66% of adolescent girls living in Lebanon from buying sanitary pads, and the percentage is still in increase. Families with reduced income are now forced to prioritize how they spend their tight budgets, women and girls from all backgrounds have suddenly found themselves struggling to purchase the items they need. A lack of education around periods means women and girls are more likely to turn to unsanitary, and potentially dangerous methods of coping with their periods when sanitary products are out of reach such as using newspapers, torn pieces of clothes, or even cardboards which could result in severe infections. NO WOMAN SHOULD CHOOSE BETWEEN FEEDING HERSELF AND HER FAMILY AND BUYING SANITARY PADS. Donate now and help us support girls and women in need across Lebanon to end period poverty.
