Support Displaced Families in Lebanon
As two Lebanese sisters committed to supporting our community, we are reaching out to ask for your help. The ongoing war in Lebanon has forced a million people to flee their homes overnight, many leaving with nothing. Thousands are now seeking refuge in schools, churches, mosques, and private homes, while others are stranded on the streets with nowhere to go.
Unfortunately, the government's efforts to manage this crisis have been insufficient, leaving the burden of relocation and resettlement to fall on community-led initiatives like ours. Right now, we're focusing on a local school that has opened its doors to hundreds of displaced people from Beirut and surrounding villages.
Most arrived with no basic necessities and have been sleeping on the floor for nights due to a lack of mattresses, blankets, and hygiene products. We are working to transform this school into a functional shelter, but we can't do it alone. Your donations will go directly to the ground team, helping us provide essentials like bedding, food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products. We also will plan children's activities and education.
As winter approaches, the need for aid will only grow more urgent. This is just the beginning of what’s required to support these families. Please consider contributing to help us make this shelter a safe and comfortable space for those in need.
