We are rescuing animals from the the war zones, reuniting animals with their displaced families, and supporting displaced families to prevent further abandonment. Members of our team are risking their lives to go to these war zone areas and perform these rescues. We are fundraising to continue our emergency rescue efforts, increase our capacity, and prepare for the future and very likely escalation. Time is of the essence as many animals are locked in closed spaces with limited food and water, and risk being bombed at any minute.

Families are being displaced across the country, and children are finding refuge in schools where they are supposed to learn and live the best time of their lives. The next generation of children is at risk of being traumatized once again. We want to provide kits for children to spend their time playing, drawing, and learning while waiting for this disaster to subside. These kits will be filled with art supplies, educational materials, and toys—tools to help children express themselves and to bring a spark of hope in these dark times. Hot Meals for Displaced Families in Lebanon
In response to the ongoing Israeli war on Lebanon, many families have been forced to flee their homes due to relentless bombardment in Beirut's southern suburb, the Bekaa Valley, and southern Lebanon. Seeking safety, they have found refuge in more secure areas. As of September 27, 2024, thousands of people have sought shelter in the Metn region, located northeast of Beirut. As food and beverage operators in the Metn area, we feel a deep responsibility to support our community through food. We are fundraising to source food and necessary supplies to provide hot meals to the families that are already here and to those who continue to arrive. Every day, we get messages about pets being abandoned in bombed areas, separated from their families and in desperate need of care. They now face hunger, injury, and death. As two Lebanese sisters committed to supporting our community, we are reaching out to ask for your help. The ongoing war in Lebanon has forced a million people to flee their homes overnight, many leaving with nothing. Thousands are now seeking refuge in schools, churches, mosques, and private homes, while others are stranded on the streets with nowhere to go. Unfortunately, the government's efforts to manage this crisis have been insufficient, leaving the burden of relocation and resettlement to fall on community-led initiatives like ours. Right now, we're focusing on a local school that has opened its doors to hundreds of displaced people from Beirut and surrounding villages. Most arrived with no basic necessities and have been sleeping on the floor for nights due to a lack of mattresses, blankets, and hygiene products. We are working to transform this school into a functional shelter, but we can't do it alone. Your donations will go directly to the ground team, helping us provide essentials like bedding, food, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products. We also will plan children's activities and education. As winter approaches, the need for aid will only grow more urgent. This is just the beginning of what’s required to support these families.
