Amlieh school was the first to open its door in Beirut for the refugees coming from the south and other regions of Lebanon. It now hosts around 600 persons with many children under 6 years old and some elderly. The Amlieh Scouts are at the forefront of leading the efforts for logistics, management and support. They service the population in need at Amlieh who requires drinking water, food, fuel for the generator, cleaning products, water in tankers. For the past few days alone, more than 2500 people we killed by Israeli forces and more than 1.5 million people from men, women, children, and elderly have been displaced from their homes to now reside in schools that have opened their doors or unfurnished apartments lacking several necessary needs for their survival from: food, medication, child-care supplies, hygiene supplies, clothing, and so much more.
