Help Carlos reunite with his family in Brazil
After fulfilling his legal duty for 5 years, Carlos (a Brazilian) who is an ex-prisoner was detained in Roumieh's prison (Lebanon) is looking for support to be able to reunite with his family in Brazil. He is stuck in Lebanon due to a custom's fine of LBP 50,000,000. He is obliged to fully pay this amount in order to be granted the freedom to leave the country. Despite all the efforts of AJEM and the Brazilian Embassy to help him reunite with his family in Brazil; the custom's fine under his name was reduced from LBP 120,000,000 to LBP 50,000,000 which is the pending amount that Carlos needs to pay in order to be granted the freedom to leave Lebanon. Today, Carlos is living in AJEM Rabieh shelter since one and half year and needs your help to raise the required funds and make his dream of going back home come true. NB: Carlos needs LBP 50,000,000 to achieve his goal, the campaign target is set to be USD 25,000 as we cannot control the type of currency per donation.

Expand AJEM's shelter for the homeless
AJEM has a shelter in Rabieh that can greet 20 homeless who are ex-prisoners. The purpose of this campaign is to expand this shelter by adding two rooms and two toilets and all accessories to greet 10 more homeless / ex-prisoners. The ARS is managed by the Association of Justice and Mercy (AJEM), a NGO fighting for the protection of Human Rights and whose main goal has targeted, since its creation, standing for the rights of representation of prisoners, ex-prisoners and their families, throughout Lebanon. Since its creation in 1996, AJEM has expanded progressively to target a larger audience, in order to protect the human dignity through a vaster array of approaches and projects

Help families affected by the blast this Christmas
Our objective is to support as many people affected by the blast as possible. First, we make sure that we waterproof as many households before the winter, then fix and renovate all secondary damage with a first objective of 1,000 houses. After taking on board 65 families to help on a monthly basis, we decided to do something special for Christmas and offer them the best one possible. We will also surprise the families with all of the necessary house items they lost and have been missing since the blast: 18 fridges • 14 ovens • 8 microwaves • 18 washing machine • 2 irons • 7 laptops • 2 tablets • 19 beds • 2 heater gas • 120 heaters • 300 blankets • 3 hoovers • 14 TVs • 25 mattresses • 2 electric oven. Lastly on the 24th of December, we will distribute a Christmas meal to each family so that they can enjoy a family Christmas with a smile! Your support is much appreciated.
