Zahra is a kind, loving woman from Lebanon who is currently facing a severe medical crisis. Due to a serious condition affecting her cervical spine (neck), Zahra is living in constant, unbearable pain, and her ability to move is becoming more limited every day.
Recent MRI results revealed a large tumor in her upper spine (C2 vertebra), a dangerous condition that requires urgent surgical intervention. Without treatment, her condition may worsen, potentially leading to permanent damage.
Doctors at the American University of Beirut Medical Center have recommended urgent specialized surgery, with the cost of 20,000 USD, (including an initial in hospital angiogram and embolization folllowed by the final surgery of tumor removal and neck stabilization). This amount is simply unaffordable given the ongoing economic crisis and difficult conditions in Lebanon.
Zahra is not just a patient—she is a mother, a family member, and someone deeply loved by those around her. Right now, she is struggling with daily pain, limited mobility, and uncertainty about her future.
She needs our help.
