Hello, my name is Nathalie Estephan. My husband and I have two children, Jonathan age 9 and Georges age 6. We need to raise $9,800 to cover our kids’ school fees for this year.
The economic crisis in Lebanon has hit our family hard. My husband lost his job nearly a year ago, and although he is doing all he can, he has been unable to find work. My father would love help us, but his work as a pastor means he is just able to provide for him and my mom. Thankfully, I recently landed a part time job in a small NGO, but this is only enough to cover our rent and food.
When we chose our kids’ school, we had no idea how difficult our financial situation would become. We are grateful to the school for the scholarships they have offered our family because of my volunteer work with them, but we still have a remaining tuition balance that feels impossible to pay. Education is critical for the future of our children, and we are doing everything we can to provide that for them.
