When Typhoon Tino hit, it took more than our homes — it took our loved ones, our safety, and the little comfort we had left.
My family lost our beloved grandfather and uncle during the storm. The heavy rains, strong winds, and power outages made it impossible for them to get the care they needed in time. Their passing broke us in ways words can’t express. But we are not alone in this pain — many families in our small community also lost their homes, their memories, and the people they love.
We come from a poor community, where most of us live day by day. Many of our neighbors’ homes are now unrecognizable — roofs ripped off, walls shattered, belongings washed away. What was once a quiet place full of laughter and life now feels empty and cold.
We are humbly asking for your help — not just for our family’s funeral and rebuilding needs, but for our entire community that’s trying to survive and start again. Your donation will help provide materials to repair homes, food, water, and essentials for families who have lost everything.
Every peso, every dollar, every share, and every prayer means the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for seeing our pain and giving us hope to rebuild what Typhoon Tino has taken away.
