I’m a single mother of two from northern Namibia, and I’m fighting to rebuild my life. After losing my job in hospitality, I fell into severe financial debt. Despite my experience and my love for cooking, I’ve struggled to find stable work,and the pressure keeps growing.

My eldest is heading to university and needs rent, books, and transport. My youngest is still in high school and also needs school fees and supplies. I want to provide for them, not just survive from day to day.

That’s why I’m working toward my dream: starting a small, affordable eatery that serves good food to our community and gives me a sustainable income. I have the skills, the passion, and the vision—what I lack is the startup capital to bring it to life.
