Legal and Charitable Aid Uganda (LECAU) is a non-governmental organization located in Kasese western Uganda. LECAU would like to carry on a fourth health camp in September 2026 aimed at reaching underserved and indigent communities who are unable to afford essential medical services. The initiative seeks to bridge the healthcare access gap by providing free, high-quality medical care to vulnerable populations.
The health camp will offer a wide range of services, including screening and management of both communicable and non-communicable diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, and infections. Specialized services will include cervical cancer screening, dental care (including tooth extractions and provision of artificial teeth), and eye care services such as vision testing and treatment. Giving medication and making follow ups on some cases and making referral cases for those that can’t be handled.
This outreach is designed not to only provide immediate medical care but also promote early detection, make awareness, prevention and health education among the beneficiaries. Legal and Charitable Aid Uganda by doing this, aims to improve overall health and improve quality of life.
