Help 5-Year-Old Honesty Save His Sight
My name is M.Doggui, and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Honesty and his family.
Honesty is a 5-year-old boy from Uganda suffering from congenital glaucoma in his right eye. Despite previous treatment, his condition has worsened over time. According to his ophthalmologist, he now has poor vision, recurrent corneal ulcers, and corneal damage. The recommended treatment is a corneal graft procedure.
Honesty comes from a poor family with very limited means.
His father works as a security guard more than 5,000 kilometers away from home. He works long shifts, often 12 hours at a time, including nights, with very few days off. He lives far from his wife and three children so that he can send money home for food, schooling, and basic necessities.
Despite years of sacrifice, his salary is not enough to cover the cost of the specialized eye surgery his son urgently needs.
Today, Honesty risks losing more of his vision while his family struggles to find a solution.
We are raising €4,560 to help cover:
• Corneal graft surgery
• Medical treatment and medications
• Follow-up consultations
• Transportation and related medical expenses
