Teta Therèse, an 89-year-old grandmother from Fanar, Lebanon, has always been known as a warm, loving, and deeply caring woman who dedicated her life to her family.

Eight years ago, tragedy struck.

She suddenly fell unconscious at home and has since been living in a vegetative state due to a severe neurological condition (pseudo diagnosis). Since that heartbreaking day, her entire daily care — medication, feeding, hygiene, and constant medical supervision — has been carried with unwavering devotion by her only daughter.

For eight long years, her daughter has stood by her side day and night, without recognition and with very limited support.

Today, the financial burden has become overwhelming.
