My name is Ahmad, and I am a father living in Lebanon with my wife and two daughters.

Since Lebanon’s economic crisis began in 2019, my family’s financial situation has become increasingly difficult. The COVID-19 period made things even harder. Throughout these years, I continued working and did everything I could to cover our household expenses, school costs, and everyday needs, but my salary gradually became no longer enough to support my family.

I tried to manage on my own for years, but by 2026 my debts had grown to approximately $5,500 and became a constant source of financial pressure.

I am not looking to depend on donations permanently. My goal is to build a new and sustainable source of income for my family by opening a small grocery business selling essential food products such as rice, lentils, sugar, grains, canned goods, and other everyday necessities, both retail and wholesale.

I estimate that approximately $10,000 is needed for the initial rent, basic setup, and first stock of goods.

My fundraising goal is $17,500. The funds will be used primarily to reduce my $5,500 debt and provide the startup capital needed to open the grocery business, while also accounting for fundraising and payment-processing fees.

I have spent years trying to keep my family financially stable through very difficult circumstances. I am asking for one opportunity to reduce this burden and build a source of income that can help me support my family through my own work.
