I am Ahmed from Gaza City. Before October 7th, I was enjoying a decent life, with everything available to me, like all my fellow citizens. Then, in the blink of an eye, everything changed. We lost everything and I found myself and my family struggling for life, displacing from one place to another in search of safety and escaping from the unjustified bombing of civilians. I lost members of my family and friends in northern Gaza and even in the south, which was supposed to be a "safe zone". We will never forget that. How can death forget when you are deprived of saying goodbye to your loved ones and seeing them for the last time? Today, a year after the war of extermination that is still ongoing, we are living this tragedy. We can barely survive these days and we cannot bear the high prices in light of the famine we are experiencing in the northern Gaza Strip. We were displaced from one area to another and I no longer know how many more times we will be displaced, who we will lose and what we will lose. This nightmare never ends.
