U.G. Dassanayake, a loving father of two little daughters (ages 6 and 11) and a dedicated husband, living in the rural heart of Sigiriya, Sri Lanka.

He used to make a humble living as a tuk-tuk driver, providing for his family with pride and hard work. But life took a heartbreaking turn when he became seriously ill, losing his only source of income and leaving the family in great distress.

Now, they live in an unfinished home, with basic living conditions and no steady income. The foundation for a small extension has been dug, but work had to stop due to lack of funds. With two young daughters depending on him, every day is a struggle — for food, education, and medical care.
