Hello, my name is Jana Berro,I am a 25-year-old Communication and Journalism graduate with a GPA of 3.55, earning a spot on the honor list. I have always dreamed of pursuing a Master’s degree to secure a brighter future for myself and my family, but my dreams are now overshadowed by the harsh realities of war in Lebanon.
My family and I live in a country devastated by conflict. The war has robbed us of our safety, stability, and livelihoods. Despite our best efforts to persevere, my family can no longer support my education, let alone escape the chaos we face daily.
Studying abroad would not only provide me with the education I need to excel in my field but also allow me to secure a stable career to help my family back in Beirut. However, the cost of this opportunity is beyond my reach.
