My name is Houssein Hamze, founder of Mashala Shelter in southern Lebanon. Since 2006, I’ve dedicated my life to rescuing and caring for animals — a promise I made after a dog saved my life during the war.
Today, the shelter is home to about 200 dogs, along with horses, donkeys, and other rescued animals. Despite war, crisis, and no government support, I continue to feed and care for them every day.
Unfortunately, the donations I receive are very small and often don’t even cover the dogs’ daily food. 💔
🐾 Please, if you can, help me keep them safe and fed.
Your support — no matter the amount — truly makes the difference between hunger and hope.
Thank you for submitting your report. At fundahope we take your concerns very seriously. We will investigate in the content of your report and take the right action when our investigations are over.
