My name is islam , and I am from Gaza. I am sharing my story to explain the difficult humanitarian circumstances that I have been living through since the beginning of the war.
Before the war, I had a simple and stable life with my wife. We had our own apartment, and I worked in a clothing store. Our life was peaceful. We had a home, work, and everything we needed to live a decent life. We never imagined that all of this could disappear so suddenly.
When the war began, our lives changed completely. We were forced to leave our home because of the bombing and the danger around us. We had to move from one place to another, carrying only what we could take with us, hoping to find somewhere safe.
Eventually, our home was completely destroyed. The place where we had built our memories and lived our everyday lives was gone. The clothing store where I worked was also completely destroyed. We lost our home, our work, and almost everything we owned.
Today, my wife and I are living in a tent. Life in a tent is extremely difficult, especially during the winter. The cold, rain, wind, and lack of basic necessities make each day a struggle. We no longer have the safety and stability that we once had.
I never imagined that my life would reach this point. I used to have a home and a job and was able to live a normal life. Now, I am simply trying to survive with my wife and hold on to hope for a better future.
