Help me build a safe and secure home for my family

​Hello everyone,

​My name is Rukshan and I am from Sri Lanka. I am reaching out to you today with a hopeful heart, seeking your kind support to change my family's living conditions.

​Currently, we live in a very basic temporary house made of wooden planks and tin sheets (thahadu). Living here is incredibly difficult, especially during the heavy rainy seasons in Sri Lanka. The walls do not provide enough protection, and our roof leaks constantly, making it hard to keep my family safe and dry. Every day is a struggle to manage our basic needs within these limitations.

​My dream is to build a small, permanent, and safe house where we can live without fear of the weather. However, due to my current financial situation, I am unable to afford the construction costs on my own.

​The funds raised will be used for:

​Purchasing essential building materials like bricks, cement, and roofing sheets.
​Paying for basic labor costs to start the construction.
​Making the house secure and weather-proof.
