Help Me & My Daughter: Health, Theft & Debt

A Mother’s Plea — 49 Years of Hard Work Abroad, Nearly $400,000 in Stolen Belongings, Two Women Battling Illness, and a Life We Must Rebuild From Zero.

I am a retired mother writing this appeal with a broken heart, asking for help for myself and my sick daughter.

I never imagined that after 49 years of working abroad, far from my homeland, sacrificing nearly my entire life to build a secure future for my family, I would one day find myself unable to provide even the most basic necessities for my daughter and myself.

For nearly five decades, I worked tirelessly, saved, sacrificed, and invested everything I could in creating a stable future and a home filled with memories.

Today, after a series of devastating events, everything we spent a lifetime building has been taken away from us.

Our bank accounts have reached zero. Our savings and financial security are gone. We are overwhelmed by accumulated debts, medical expenses, unpaid obligations, and the enormous cost of starting our lives again.

We are two women, both facing health problems, with no employment income, no man to support us, and no dependable family or financial safety net to fall back on.

I am retired and no longer working. My daughter is unemployed and struggling with serious health problems. I am also unwell.

What breaks my heart the most is knowing that my daughter needs medical care, yet I am no longer financially capable of providing it.

Our Home Was Completely Robbed — Nearly $400,000 in Losses

Our home in another country was completely robbed.

The estimated value of the belongings stolen from us amounts to approximately $400,000.

Furniture, household belongings, personal possessions, clothing, valuables, and the things we had spent years working to acquire were taken from us.

My daughter lost practically her entire wardrobe and her personal belongings. We lost the essential possessions needed to maintain a normal household.

Our financial situation was further damaged by experiences of fraud and deception.

After all those years of work and sacrifice, we were left with empty bank accounts, accumulated financial obligations, and almost nothing with which to start again.

Imagine working abroad for 49 years, saving and sacrificing for your family’s future, only to reach retirement and discover that everything you built has disappeared.

This is the reality I am living today.

Our Legal Battle — A Judgment That Has Not Yet Been Enforced

We have pursued legal action to recover our stolen property and seek compensation.

A court judgment was issued, and enforcement proceedings were initiated. However, the judgment has not yet been effectively enforced, and we have still not received the compensation owed to us.

Furthermore, the compensation awarded was significantly lower than our estimated losses of approximately $400,000.

We have spent considerable time, money, and effort seeking justice, yet our financial situation remains unresolved.

We continue fighting to recover our rights, but the legal process has not provided the immediate financial relief we desperately need.

We cannot pay our medical bills, cover our debts, or rebuild a home with a court judgment that has not yet resulted in payment.

My Daughter Is Sick — And I Cannot Afford Her Treatment

As a mother, nothing is more painful than watching your child suffer and being unable to help.

My daughter has experienced serious health difficulties during this devastating period of our lives, including an early-stage cancer-related condition.

She underwent four unsuccessful surgeries, which left her with physical complications and disfigurement.

She still needs additional medical care, follow-up examinations, treatments, and revision surgeries to address the complications and physical damage resulting from those procedures.

Doctors have requested further medical tests, investigations, and treatment that she has been unable to undergo because of our financial situation.

I am her mother. I spent my life working to protect her and provide for her.

And today, I cannot even afford to pay for the medical treatment my own daughter needs.

Watching her suffer physically and emotionally while knowing that the necessary medical care is beyond our financial reach is heartbreaking.

My daughter wants to recover, regain her health, and return to work so she can rebuild her independence.

But right now, her medical circumstances and our financial situation have made that extremely difficult.

I Am Also Sick, Retired, and Without Income

I am also dealing with health problems of my own.

After 49 years of working abroad, I am now retired and no longer have employment income.

The sudden financial devastation has also deeply affected my mental and emotional well-being. Losing our financial security almost overnight was an overwhelming shock, and I now need psychological support and professional mental health care to help me cope with the trauma.

We still struggle to understand how our entire financial situation could collapse so suddenly. To make matters worse, even the small amount of savings we have left in Lebanese banks remains largely inaccessible because of the banking restrictions that began during Lebanon’s financial crisis in 2019.

At a stage of life when I should have some peace and security, I find myself worried about our health, shelter, unpaid bills, and how we will survive.

Neither my daughter nor I is currently working.

We have no man providing for us, no reliable source of financial support, and no one we can depend on to carry these responsibilities.

I am a mother who spent almost five decades trying to give her daughter a secure future. Today, I am asking strangers to help me protect that future.

We Cannot Afford Even the Basics

Our financial difficulties have become so severe that ordinary daily necessities are now beyond our reach.

We cannot even afford a taxi when we need transportation.

This makes medical appointments, everyday errands, and basic mobility even more difficult.

We cannot afford to replace the furniture, clothing, household essentials, and personal belongings that were stolen from us.

We need secure housing, essential household supplies, food, transportation, medication, and the financial means to live with dignity.

We also need a practical way to restore reliable transportation, since even basic travel has become a financial burden.

Our accumulated debts continue to weigh heavily on us, and without employment income, we cannot manage these obligations.

We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for the basic right to live safely, receive medical care, and start again.

Why I Am Asking for $200,000

Our estimated losses from the stolen belongings alone amount to approximately $400,000, not including our additional financial hardships, accumulated debts, legal expenses, and medical needs.

I understand that $200,000 is a significant amount of money.

But I am not asking the public to replace every possession we lost or reimburse our entire lifetime of losses.

I am asking for an opportunity to rebuild a stable foundation for my daughter and myself.

The funds raised will help us:

* Pay accumulated debts and outstanding financial obligations that we can no longer manage without employment income.
* Secure stable housing and essential household necessities, including furniture, appliances, and basic supplies.
* Replace necessary clothing and personal belongings lost in the theft.
* Cover my daughter’s medical examinations, tests, consultations, medications, and treatments that we have been unable to afford.
* Support necessary revision surgeries and corrective procedures to address complications from her previous operations.
* Help cover my own medical needs, including necessary care, treatment, and professional psychological support for the emotional trauma we have experienced.
* Provide essential living expenses, including food, utilities, housing costs, and transportation to medical appointments.
* Restore access to reliable transportation so we can manage daily responsibilities and healthcare needs.
* Help us regain financial stability and independence, while we continue pursuing our legal rights and outstanding compensation.

This is not a request to restore a luxurious lifestyle. It is a request to give a retired, unwell mother and her sick daughter a chance to live a normal, safe, dignified life again.

Transparency — All Supporting Evidence Is Available

I understand that anyone considering a donation deserves honesty and transparency.

Our circumstances are supported by documentation relating to the theft, estimated financial losses, court proceedings, legal claims, and medical history.

Relevant supporting documents and evidence can be made available upon serious and legitimate request.

For privacy and security reasons, sensitive personal, financial, medical, and legal documents will not be published publicly.

However, appropriate supporting evidence can be shared confidentially with legitimate donors, recognized charitable organizations, or authorized representatives seeking to verify our circumstances.

We are willing to provide reasonable verification because we understand that trust is essential when asking others for financial assistance.

A Mother’s Final Plea — Please Help Me Save Our Future

I never thought that after 49 years of hard work abroad, I would be writing these words.

I believed that all those years of sacrifice would eventually provide security for my daughter and peace for me in retirement.

Instead, I am facing the painful reality of losing our savings, our belongings, our financial stability, and the life I spent decades building.

My daughter is sick. I am also unwell.

We are both without employment income.

We have debts we cannot pay, medical treatment we cannot afford, belongings we cannot replace, and legal claims that have not yet resulted in the recovery we need.

We have no man to rely on and no dependable financial support.

My greatest pain is not what I lost financially. It is watching my daughter suffer and knowing that I cannot afford to give her the medical care and security she needs.

I do not want my daughter to lose her health, her hope, or her future because of financial circumstances beyond our current ability to overcome.

I also do not want the 49 years I spent working abroad to end with us unable to meet our most basic needs.

I am asking for help, not for comfort or extravagance, but for survival, medical care, financial recovery, and a second chance.

We lost almost everything we worked for. Please help us not lose our hope as well.

Every donation, no matter how small, can help us take a step toward recovery.

If you are unable to donate, sharing our story could help us reach someone who is able to assist.

Thank you for reading the plea of a mother who simply wants to protect her daughter and rebuild what is left of their lives.

After 49 years of sacrifice and hard work abroad, all I am asking for is a chance for my daughter and me to start again — with dignity, health, security, and hope.

With sincere gratitude,

A retired mother fighting for her sick daughter, her own health, and a second chance at life.
